Job Description
Oversee operations of the Pelletron linac facility (operating 24x7 throughout the year) and associated subsystems; play an important role in accelerator operations and R&D for facility improvements; interface with scientist users and assist them in solving beam-related problems during experiments.
Salary: Pay Level 11, Pay Stage 1 (7th CPC Pay Matrix); Total Monthly Emoluments (TME): ₹140,150/-
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of post-master's research experience. Strong instrumentation background and software development for acquisition and control systems.
Qualification Required: Ph.D. from a recognized University/Institute in Accelerator Physics or Experimental Nuclear Physics.
Upper Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications (age relaxations as per rules).
