Job Description
Recruitment for Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk posts under CEN 07/2026 (Under Graduate category). Responsibilities include booking and issuing tickets, managing passenger queries, ticket checking on trains/stations, and commercial administration.
Salary: Pay Level 3 under 7th CPC (Initial Basic Pay of ₹21,700/- plus applicable DA, HRA, and other allowances as per railway rules)
Experience Required: Freshers / Under Graduates are eligible (No prior work experience required)
Qualification Required:12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. (Note: 50% marks is not insisted upon for SC, ST, PwBD, or Ex-Servicemen candidates who possess higher qualifications).
Age Limit: 18 to 30 years as on 1st January 2027 (Born between 02.01.1997 and 01.01.2009 for UR/EWS; upper age relaxations apply for OBC-NCL, SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, and other eligible categories as per Government guidelines).
Vacancies: 700 tentative vacancies distributed across various RRBs Medical Standard: B-2 (Physically fit in all respects; distant vision 6/9, 6/12 with or without glasses up to 4D; near vision Sn: 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses)
