Job Description
Recruitment of Station Masters across Indian Railways through a dedicated notification (CEN 08/2026). Responsibilities include train operations management, safe and efficient movement of traffic, station administration, and coordination with control offices.
Salary: Level 6 under the 7th CPC (Initial Basic Pay of ₹35,400/- plus applicable Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, transport allowances, and other benefits as per railway rules)
Experience Required: Freshers / Graduates are eligible (No prior work experience required)
Qualification Required:
A Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.
Age Limit: 20 to 33 years as on 1st January 2027 (Standard upper-age relaxations apply for OBC-NCL, SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, and other eligible categories as per Government of India guidelines).
Vacancies: 1,265 tentative vacancies distributed across all 21 RRBs (including 542 Unreserved, 176 SC, 104 ST, 296 OBC, 147 EWS, and horizontal reservations for Ex-Servicemen).

Single-Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT)
Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
Document Verification (DV)
Medical Examination (Medical Standard: A-2 category)
