Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited (UCSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Cochin Shipyard Limited under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, is inviting online applications from Indian nationals for workmen vacancies at UCSL-Kochi on a fixed-term contract basis (up to 5 years).
Job Description: Creating and detailing electrical schematics, layout plans, cable routing, and drafting electrical systems specific to marine vessels and shipyard projects.
Common Eligibility & Important GuidelinesUpper Age Limit: 30 years as of 01 September 2026 (Born on or after 02 September 1996). Age Relaxations: +3 years for OBC (NCL); PwBD and Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India directives (cumulative maximum 45 years). Application Fee: ₹300 (Exempted for SC/ST/PwBD). Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of experience in design and drafting of electrical systems for ships in a Shipyard or commercial establishment. (Proficiency in AutoCAD is desirable).
Qualification Required: 3-year Diploma in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics (EEE), or Instrumentation & Communication Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education with a minimum of 60% marks.
