Job Description
The Junior Instructor (Mechanic Tractor) works under the Industrial Training Department (Government of Kerala) at Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and government skill-training centers. The role focuses on delivering practical and theoretical vocational training in tractor mechanics, agricultural machinery, and power transmission systems to trainees.
Eligibility Criteria1. Age Limit:19 – 48 Years Candidates must be born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included). Usual age relaxations apply for SC/ST and Other Backward Communities (OBC) as per general government rules. 2. Educational & Technical Qualifications:SSLC or equivalent qualification. AND any one of the following technical credentials:National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the appropriate trade with 3 years of post-certificate experience. National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the appropriate trade with 1 year of post-certificate experience. Diploma in the appropriate branch of Engineering from a Government or recognized Polytechnic. Note: As per G.O (P) No.72/2024/LBR, candidates belonging to SC/ST and Differently Abled (Low Vision) categories are exempted from the experience qualification. Workshop Attender experience in the respective trade is also deemed qualifying. Confirmation for Exam: If a written/OMR/online test is conducted, candidates must submit confirmation via their profile to download admission tickets during the final 15 days before the test.
