- ROLE OBJECTIVE
The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving volume growth, expanding retail distribution, and ensuring the visibility of our spice products across assigned territories. This role focuses on building strong relationships with retailers and distributors to ensure our brand remains the market leader in the category.
- CANDIDATE PROFILE
* Experience: 1-3 years in FMCG sales. Previous experience in spices, masalas, or food staples is highly preferred.
* Skills: Strong negotiation, relationship building, and basic numerical ability for calculating margins and discounts.
* Requirements: Must own a two-wheeler with a valid license and be willing to travel extensively within the assigned beat.
* Education: High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any field.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Sales Execution:

Achieve daily and monthly secondary sales targets by visiting retail outlets (Kirana, supermarkets, and wholesalers) according to a fixed Permanent Journey Plan (PP)
- Distribution Expansion:
Identify and onboard new outlets to increase the "Numeric Distribution of the spice portfolio.
- Merchandising:
Ensure "Eye-Level placement of products on shelves and execute the placement of Point-of-Sale (POS) materials tike danglers and dispensers.
- Stock Management:
Monitor distributor stock levels and ensure a fresh supply of products using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles to prevent expiries.
- Reporting:
Use Sales Force Automation (SFA) apps to log daily calls, orders, and competitor activities (pricing, schemes, etc.).
