Job Description
CBSE (an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education, Department of School
Education & Literacy, Government of India) on behalf of KVS and NVS invites online applications
from eligible Indian citizens for recruitment on direct basis for various teaching and non-teaching
posts in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. The candidates are
advised to visit only the official websites of CBSE, KVS and NVS i.e. https://www.cbse.gov.in/
https://kvsangathan.nic.in/ and https://navodaya.gov.in/ respectively for authentic information related
to this recruitment.
The selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India on initial posting on selection and
request for change of station/region will not be entertained under any circumstances whatsoever.
Candidates shortlisted for appointment to the post of TGT (Regional Language) in NVS will be initially
posted outside linguistic state only.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
i. Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks
ii. B.Ed. from NCTE Recognized Institute/University with atleast 50% marks
OR
Three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from NCTE Recognized Institute/University with atleast
50% marks
iii. Working as Principal in the Pay Level 12 (Rs.78800 to Rs.209200) for at least 03 years in
Central/State/Autonomous Organizations of Central Govt./State Govt.
iv. Knowledge of computer applications.
v. Working knowledge of Hindi and English.
